Outstanding fresh food, great owners, great spot to eat
I’m not a seafood fan but I do like shrimp. I loved the shrimp at the Fish House. Just the right amount of batter. We sat outside in the warm Florida weather. We also got to ride the golf cart to the restaurant...what could be better!
Drove by a few times and always saw a line, so we decided to stop. Had fish and shrimp and it was great! Staff very friendly. We will be back!
We eat there every chance we get..Its a pretty long ride from Plant City but well worth the ride. Seafood there is always fresh and cooked just right. The fried and smoked mullet there is delicious but they don't always have mullet..The shrimp, scollops, fish and oysters are always a hit...wish it was a little closer...
I recommend everything about the fish house: delicious fish; perfect customer service; ambiance; prices; servings; and...PEANUT BUTTER PIE. Although I don't get there very often due to my work schedule, Tuesday is the BIG 5-0 and a visit to The Fish House is a perfect start to the celebrations!
Delicious soft crabs and tasty oysters. All with a wonderful smile. This will be my soft crab home away from my hometown on the Chesapeake Bay.
NEW OWNERSHIP SINCE AWARDS GIVEN BY SOUTHSHORE NEWS AND POLLS. FISH IS NO LONGER FISHED FRESH. THEY ADMITTED TO USING FARMED FROZEN BASA WHICH IS POISON BASICALLY!! (Google it) THEY ALSO STOPPED SELLING FRIED OKRA AND WAS OUT OF FRIED GREEN TOMATOES!!! SO DISAPPOINTED THAT THEY MISREPRESENT THEMSELVES. AFTER EATING HERE FOR MANY MANY YEARS...TODAY WAS THE LAST TIME!!!!! SO DISGUSTED!!! TASTED LIKE FRIED CATFISH!!!!
