I'd like to THANK the owner of Fish Hook Grill, for her Kindness shown to many residents in the Down East area. During the aftermath of Hurricane Florence, Ms. Heather opened her restaurant and fed an abundance of 1st responders, Electricians, local residents, and many hungry families from surrounding communities, Free of charge. This went on for days. Her generosity will Not be forgotten! Thank You seems inadequate, but we SURE Do Thank You and Appreciate all you did!
My sister and cousin and I had dinner here last night. Nothing crazy, just some really good, tasty, well-seasoned food. Clam chowder and slaw and a burger. Exceptional waitstaff. I mentioned I followed the restaurant on Facebook when I found out they stayed open for DAYS without electric directly after hurricane Florence made landfall, cooking for anyone who needed a meal and a shoulder.
