Mean Owner! Don't go here! Tried to return something that I purchased and owned for less than 24 hours and the owner cursed me out and would not let me return the item and treated me like dirt!
WARNING DO NOT BUY AN ANIMAL FROM THIS STORE!! I purchased my jack russel/rat terrier from this pet store in June of 2008 and we have put over $2000.00 into vet bills for him since! He had a bacteria in him in the first week, called champylbacter which was from the dirty conditions he was living in before we purchased him. Just a warning--do NOT buy a pet from this disgusting store!
Horrible nasty place... I bought a puppy here a few years ago. It was a lab/retriever mix for $450 but the poor guy was so cute. 2 weeks later I had to put him down because he had a disease and the vet determined he was only about 5 weeks old when we purchased him he should have been 8-10 weeks old. We told lady at the Pet center and she said there would be no refund then we called our vet and our vet called her and threatened her to turning her in and then wrote her a nasty letter and we got all our money back which went to... read more
20 years buyingFish Here and lovin it This is a great store, I mean sure the high school kids at the big pet stores and department pet stores can sell you a pet with unknown origin and know nothing about the animal they are selling you or you can go to Fish Here and get a new companion from people who know and love what they are selling. This Store is disgusting My friend and I were so horrified by this pet store, we refuse to ever enter again. We were kicked out by a male worker because we "looked like trouble". This is ridiculous. My friend and I are straight A students who are terrified of getting in trouble. We were in the store for only 3 and a half minutes before being asked to leave. PARVO PUPPY We bought a puppy at this pet store. Four and a half days later he came down with parvo. We called to inform the owner so he could check the rest of his puppies so no one else had this happen to them. Instead of being grateful we called he got nasty and blamed us for the illness. Luckily our puppy survived but others will probably not be so lucky.
WTF why is no one there I went in just to see what there was and it was very dissapointing. the fish tanks were dirty and with some dead ones floating about, although with large batches of fish some die anyway but then why didn't anyone clean them out. the store was empty of employees, It looked like "Life After People was being staged. the animals were very depressed and the cages weren't quite clean either. all in all, only use this store if you have to other wise go to petsmart just a few blocks away. the are well staffed... read more
Where is the ASPCA when you need them? Do I have to rate this place at all? I would like to know why the ASPCA does not close this place down. You need to take a Prozac just to walk through here because it is so depressing to see the animals in such filthy and vile conditions. I would buy them all if I could just to ensure they would have a loving and caring home, but I would be broke from their insane prices and also the vet bills that would inevitably come from the squalor they have lived in.
