WTF why is no one there I went in just to see what there was and it was very dissapointing. the fish tanks were dirty and with some dead ones floating about, although with large batches of fish some die anyway but then why didn't anyone clean them out. the store was empty of employees, It looked like "Life After People was being staged. the animals were very depressed and the cages weren't quite clean either. all in all, only use this store if you have to other wise go to petsmart just a few blocks away. the are well staffed... read more

Where is the ASPCA when you need them? Do I have to rate this place at all? I would like to know why the ASPCA does not close this place down. You need to take a Prozac just to walk through here because it is so depressing to see the animals in such filthy and vile conditions. I would buy them all if I could just to ensure they would have a loving and caring home, but I would be broke from their insane prices and also the vet bills that would inevitably come from the squalor they have lived in. What are the requirements to g... read more

Fish Here Pet Ctr Does a Great Job Animals are well cared for, aquariums are kept as a hobbiest would keep in there own home. The aquariums need plants, algae, and such to keep them alive. You don't keep fish in a swimming pool as the high level of chlorine are the only way to keep a pool looking clean and clear, look at the ponds, streams and lakes in the area fish die there too, even in there natural environment. It smells like a pet store, just like the perfume counter smells like perfume or a barn smells like farm animal... read more

PARVO PUPPY We bought a puppy at this pet store. Four and a half days later he came down with parvo. We called to inform the owner so he could check the rest of his puppies so no one else had this happen to them. Instead of being grateful we called he got nasty and blamed us for the illness. Luckily our puppy survived but others will probably not be so lucky.

Horrible costomer service The 5 star rating MUST be from the owner or family member. This is the worst pet store I've seen. Dirty and the costomer service is horrible. I wanted to write a bad review to warn others, only to find plenty of other bad reviews already out there. I will never go back. There are several pet stores in town (not big box) that are helpful friendly people who look like they care for the pets well. I can't believe this place is still in business.

Over priced I always walk through here when I'm at the mall but I can't remember the last time I actually bought something from here. They've got decent prices on their fish, but it can be a hassle tracking down someone to help you get them. They've almost always got puppies and kittens available but they're pretty pricey for a lot of non-purebred dogs, and you can pick up a kitten from the Humane Society for cheaper. They do have a wide variety of pet accessories though.

Not Surprised... I knew I would be disgusted and saddened by the pet shops condition but I went in anyway. As usual there was the following.. 1. Puppies from puppy mills kept behind glass. 2. Over crowding in the bird and small animal cages. (rabbits in small aquariums) 3. Murky water and dead fish floating in the aquariums. 4. The pungent stench of feces and urine. 5. Not enough employees working to manage all the animals. Yuck :( But what really stuck out to me were the rats. On their cages they had signs that said either,... read more

Pets This store stinks they really need to clean there tanks. It is very hard to see what is in them. Also they sale cats and dogs that are purebred but the prices are very high for them. They have a wide selection of items for house hold pets. The staff would rather talk to one another then help the customer.

Poor pets deserve better This store is ridiculous. It stinks. It's way too crowded and dirty. The fish tanks are dirty. The poor cats and dogs always have dirty cages. I've seen dogs try to play in the small amount of room they have and end up stepping in their own feces. The employee's are rude, and it's just overpriced. I was looking at lizards once and I saw this anole that was brown (green is when they're healthy) and way too skinny, you could see his ribs. I thought he was dead so I got an employee. She reached in the c... read more
