We have gone to Fishheads for the past 15+ years and have loved watching the expansions and renovations. It started as a (in store) counter take out, and now it's a full sit down restaurant that draws huge crowds. It's one of our absolute favorites in NC. Awesome fish tacos, crab cakes, and burgers. Service is always excellent!
With 8.99 ft. waves. It was a swinging no doubt! Ate 60 shrimp. $9 bucks...outlandish
A favorite spot for a beer and a casual lunch. Service was great this year, as usual, and my grilled fish sandwich (rockfish) was excellent. The beer selection is good. A little heavy on the IPAs for my taste, but they have a wide enough selection that there is always something for everyone. And, of course, the view can't be beat.
Ask for Rachel! She is the best and took care of us on multiple visits. Remembered our drinks as well!! Peir jumper is the best beer and you can't leave without a painkiller. The nutmeg makes it.
Can't say enough about this place! Incredible setting... Waves washing up under the pier. Cold beers, 15 cent shrimp during Happy Hour, and the Daniel Jordan Band rocking the country music... Magical nite for our last nite in OBX!! Beer, burgers, music, and friends!! And our waitress was attentive and adorable... And s Penn State grad... Don't miss this place!! "

Visited 3 times over the course of a week vacation! Very good service, lots of choices on tap, and the cheese fries are addicting! Will definitely be back next year when we visit again!
Smallest shrimp I've had . I was willing to get a lot more. Went somewhere else.
Great place we go there often to listen to local bands hang out and have a few cold drinks. Very good place to eat and meet new folks !!
