My son bought a pair of Fisher skis in November of 2025. By January of 2026 the tips both split. We bought them brand new from a local ski swap where sko shops sell overstock for a reasonable price. Less than 2 months of skiing and the company will not warranty their faulty product. Now a 17 year old needs to buy a 2nd pair. Obviously not Fishers.
BUYER BEWARE of quality-control issues and very poor customer service! I bought Fischer S-Bound 98. Very good ski, but in my second season of use I discovered there was a metal edge seam in the middle of the ski, under-foot, and it was starting to separate from the ski. I took it to my local ski shop, and they said the ski was manufactured that way. I take very good care of my skis, and there was no impact to the base or sidewall -- just a split in the metal edge.
