Excellent eye doctor. Very thorough examination, perfect prescription. Most drs screw up on mine, resulting in many headaches. I had none after seeing him. His bedside manner could be improved, but he knows what hes doing, so its not a big deal. Deputy Optics is in the same building, they are friendly and skilled! I love my glasses frames, they are so pretty!

I was recommended to Dr. Fischer by a friend for lasik. It was the best decision I could have made. After numerous visits to Lasik centers around Northern Nevada, Dr. Fischer was straightforward and honest. He was very detailed and throughout in explaining the process and recover. I am sorry that Dr. Michael J. Fischer is serving as the president of the of NV Medical Board to which I filed a medical complaint. The NV Board has a long history of not doing its job in protecting consumers. In my malpractice case, damage was done to my face at a dermatology office and confirmed by a medical expert. I had one acne spot that never got treated. Dr. Fisher is not always the best "people person", but after trying another Opthamologist I am convinced that Dr. Fisher knows his stuff. The prescription he gave me was perfect. The prescription the other opthamologist gave me was horrible. Dr. Fisher has skills and knowledge.
