ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE! I have been part of 3 different HOA Boards and First Residential has proven to be the worst of the three management companies. When you have a Community Manager they are knowledgeable, but they DO NOT RESPOND TO HOA BOARD REQUESTS AND OWNERS QUESTIONS. Our Community Manager left and we have not had a Community Manager for over 6 months now! As a Board member they don't reply to emails or notification requests. The management team has been very responsive and communicative. I’ve had several interactions and they’ve been professional and helpful in coordinating next steps with the Board. I appreciate their ongoing efforts and willingness to engage.
I had a great experience with Becky. She was attentive, friendly, and took care of my request quickly.
Losses in the thousands for our approved landscape plan at Ridgeview in San Marcos. Our pristine privacy trees now removed--they sighted Cal Fire 2022 4906.4.1-- not in our CC&Rs. Previously the ARC said our 6' privacy wall must have solid plant filtering for neighbors-side and no more than 8' tall within one year. That's completely conflicted with new HOA guidance--trim to 6' and thin--also not compliant with 4906.4.1 guidance. The absolute worst HOA--BAD GUIDANCE. Twenty plus years living in managed communities in Northern and Southern CA--nothing ever this bad.
