I was happy to find First Light Home Care for my father who was an Army Veteran and it was wonderful to know that this company is lead and managed by Veterans. From my first initial meeting with Tina, I knew that I was going to have good care for my father. Tina was also available to my needs whenever I would contact her. I wish I could give this company -10 stars . Initially I try to give everyone a fair chance on first impression. This company had more then that first impression. The employees they hire are mostly younger kids out of school. They don’t like to work, and out right nasty to the staff that are trying to care for residents. The agency has been contacted several times about one particular care giver who is nasty to staff and residents, but yet she still remains employed. Initially, this agency appeared wonderful and to be the answer to our prayers. We were impressed by their apparent professionalism, perceived good attitude towards dementia clients, and their promises to deliver quality care to our mom. Unfortunately, our relationship with them became a nightmare that lasted four long months.
