If you are considering a home in this development, I encourage you to drive down Del Rio Trail (open the photo) This occurred a month ago, and no one will take responsibility or provide a plan of action to resolve/repair. The HOA stated the following when updates have been requested: “You need to calm down because getting upset makes your hair turn gray and you’ll have to spend money getting it colored.” “If you get an attorney, that will just make your HOA dues go up.”
I visited this community as I have passed by many times. I was amazed at the outstanding customer service I received from Dawn. She is a true professional and was so very knowledgeable about the product. She took her time to answer all of my questions and tour me through the beautiful model home as well asvtook me to see the available inventory homes. The lots were unfortunately to small but I will be telling my family and friends about First Texas Homes in this community.
I first spoke with the preferred lender and everything was great there. I called in to Trails at Cottonwood Creek. I only needed a couple pieces of information. I asked for the property tax rate. 2.3%. I got that. I was given the HOA fee of 1300 annually. Understood. I was told there was a PID. The PID was roughly 1,100/year, but if you paid in full, it is roughly 12,000-14,000. She said you have to come here to see it on paper. I said how does that make sense?
