Do not go here!!! At first I thought this clinic and doctors were great, until a bigger issue came up. You have to fight for months to get any type of referral or for the doctors to actually listen to what you are saying. I got prescribed medication without being tested first and now I have extremely worse medical conditions. My family doctor failed to inform me of side effects, when I asked the doctor if there was any side effects(as I can be sensitive to medication) the doctors response was “well every medication has side ... read more
Would not recommend this clinic. Reception is rude and Dr. Archibong misdiagnosed my 2 year old even after I came to him with my concerns. He continued to try and push antibiotics on her. I got a second opition later that day and my instincts were right and she never needed antibiotics. He refused to listen to my opinion therefore I would never trust this clinic with my children.
I had been seeking a good doctor for well over a year when informed that First Street Medical in Cochrane had family doctor openings. After reading Dr. Mias Westhuyzen's (Dr. West) online bio, (South African trained, young, athletic and obviously intelligent) I immediately requested a 'meet & greet' that left me highly impressed and so grateful to be taken on as one of his patients. Definitely thankful to be a patient of Dr. West. Nice to finally have a physician who cares and listens to your concerns. After having gone through a few doctors, he is by far the Best
I’m luck enough to see be a patient of Dr. West….by far the best GP I have ever had. I’ve read some of the poor reviews of First Street Medical and it’s unfortunate as my experience with the staff and Dr. West has been exceptional. I am truly grateful to have connected with this team.
