Isn't open on Sundays, we found out the hard way by showing up on site. Were in a recovery house, and with 5 hours prior notice told that we had to go to this particular meeting on Sunday at 6pm or be written up. So, we swallow the bullet, decide we had nothing to do, even though I did have laundry planned before being told we HAD to go to this meeting, and went. It was closed! Sundays are closed. This place is a great place to come and get clean and focus in your recovery, good structure. I came here and this program help me a lot. Especially with crack cocaine addiction, not too many places offer recovery for crack addiction.

I visited First Stop Recovery to research a paper I am writing for my bachelors in nursing program on substance abuse. Everyone was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. They made me feel so welcome and answered all of my questions. I was pleasantly surprised to learn the statistical significance of the work they are doing to rehabilitate those in the community who are suffering from this horrible disease of addiction. They are all amazing people. Thank you for everything you do for our community!! ❤️

They said in the WebSite that it's "free" but it's not. When u get there u have to stay in a room filled with bunk beds with many other men and they charge $85 a week to sleep there. U are required to make ALL meetings there n you're not permitted to have a phone or go out alone for your first couples of months. If u enroll in an outpatient program of THEIR CHOOSING ur rent is waived as long as u comply with the IOP. First Stop Recovery takes people with no money. This is a great program. Helping others is they're main purpose. They help people gain hope. We are all family. Thank you TraderJoes and Drexel University for all the time and food you have donated. Thank you First Stop Recovery!
