As a follow up, the company has reached out and clarified that they have installed metal tile roofs but this particular manufacturer is newer to them. Also regarding the flat roof not being tiled, apparently it can’t be. That was never told to me at the time of the sale. So only 95% of the roof will have a 50 year warranty with the metal roofing. Hired First Service to install a new metal roof that looks like tile. The product is new to them and it appears the workers were not trained on installation. It’s been 6 weeks since they started the job and the flat portion of the roof remains unfinished. The panels are missing dozens of screws and can literally be lifted up by hand.
