Dr. Azuero is wonderful. I am a liver transplant patient and he is very knowledgeable about my condition. I am very happy with the care he provides.
Went for a physical. The young lady up front told me there is NO Co-pay for a physical. All good. An hour after I leave the office I get a call saying I owe a $15 Co-pay? When I asked why she said because it was billed as an office visit??? NO REASONABLE EXPLANATION AS YO WHY!! Must be because it puts extra money in the doctors pocket. And they ordered 2 perscriptions for me and one was incorrect. 3 phone calls and 6 days later still no perscription. Surprise. They don't make them like they use to. Competent and caring.

When I called for appointment staff said 8 am. Arrived a few minutes before 8. Sign on door said office opens at 8:30. Went to lobby to wait. Tried calling office 4 times. Message said office was closed. Went back at 8:30 to be told appointment was for 8:15 and since we were 15 minutes late he could not see the doctor. Office person was not helpful at all. Canceled future appointment and will find a new doctor.
My first appointment with Dr Azuero has been one of the best experiences I have had since I came to live in the USA more than 5 years ago, not only because of his willingness to listen to be able to give a broad and objective point of view but because It helps you see the medical aspects in a comprehensive way. In my case, I received the orders to take the exams that I just needed and they are consistent with my health status, age and context. Highly recommended
