We used this company. BEWARE!! Poor communication, scheduling and follow up with project management. Also padded the schedule ridiculously. If they actually had workers that worked a full 8 hours a day could have been done much quicker. I had to constantly keep tabs on the schedule and push to get any information, I gave them all our colour and product selections without being prompted to do so. It took First On-Site Restoration a full year to finish the restoration on our 4-plex. Two days before the fire, we had completely renovated the property. After making us wait for twelve months, what they left us with this June 2026 is a total disaster and far from the original condition. I had/have a very disappointing experience with First Onsite during my insurance restoration. Communication was extremely poor throughout the process. I repeatedly had to chase updates, follow up on unanswered emails, phone calls, texts and push for basic information on timelines and outstanding work. Multiple commitments to “get back to me” simply never happened. The scope of work was relatively straightforward, yet the project dragged on (nearing 6 months now) with long periods of silence and little apparent coordination. ... read more
