I would not recommend First Houston Appraisal based on my experience with the FHA appraisal conducted by John Passero Jr. on the home I purchased. Under FHA guidelines, an appraiser is responsible for identifying observable conditions that affect the safety, soundness, and marketability of a property. In my case, the appraisal did not reflect critical issues that were later already confirmed through inspection and repair amendments as part of the purchase contract.
