Never use this company! Over 10k dollars to demo our 300sq foot basement through insurance. Now we don’t have any money left in our settlement to do any repairs. Pressuring us to get it done so they can charge us for emergency service. A joke of a company taking advantage of you when you’re down.

I truly regret hiring First General. What should have been a straightforward basement restoration and renovation experience turned into a very stressful and frustrating situation for me and my family. I am signing off as a victim of this company. The project only involved a short demolition and debris removal scope, yet the workmanship and overall professionalism fell far below what I expected. First General where the contractors for my roof replacement through TD insurance. Courtney was who I mainly dealt with. She was very professional, communicated well and came through on whatever she said she would do. She sent Shaw Roofing to give an estimate and they are a very well known established company ( vs some fly by night roof company out there) in London, so I was impressed from the onset Shaw did a great job. Overall a really good experience. Thanks Courtney and Shaw Roofing.

This company is outstanding. The restoration work done is perfect. They kept me informed along the way from tear down to insurance claim and completion. I am very happy with the results.
