Was on hold forever for customer service. Finally left callback number. Call never returned. Called again, on hold forever again. Finally got through to a human. She couldn't help me. Awaiting e-mail from someone else. If I can ever access my funds, I think I'll just close the account. The frustration is not worth an extra .5% interest.

DON'T DO IT!! I should have given up when it took 6 tries just to submit the online app for an online savings. Then I couldn't add a joint account holder. Then I was denied. So I called for help, and was told I would have to reapply in 24 hours and she could tell me why it was denied. So I tried again a few days later. Still had issues. Called again. It has been 3 days that their app is down for money transfers. When I call support they have no explanation or ETA for the app to be back up and running. Is mid month, approaching the end of it when everyone needs to pay bills and I can’t move my money for it.

I have had a great experience with First Foundation Bank. They have great customer service and their rates and deposit products are always very competitive. Their online banking and mobile app are very convenient as well.

My husband has a business account here and it has been great. We also had an 18 month CD at a very competitive rate. The Irvine branch was extremely helpful in answering all our banking questions.
