I have been dealing with them for many years and they are great. Guy and the young lady that works in the back are wonderful straight forward people. They work with you if you work with them. The receptionist ladies are very respectful and friendly. I had a person and vehicle loan from them no issues over here. They are exceptional for people trying to get back on track because they gave me a chance when many would not.

They are straight forward and easy to work with. All the banks and finance company's were telling me NO. They took time to listen to why I had some credit issues and took a chance on me. Now I'm on track to re establish my credit. I would defiantly recommend them.

My husband and I went to Cook Motor Co. and bought his truck,our experience with this truck has been fantastic! We have it financed through 1st Financial,yes their rates are high,yes it is crazy,but my husbands credit was destroyed and if you want a decent vehicle you have to pay the piper some time. If you ruin your credit then hey you have to earn it back and this is one way on how to to do it. I do think that sometimes they can be rude when we call to make a payment but it is what it is. Needed a loan quickly for some emergency home repairs. They helped me the same day I applied. They were very friendly and understanding of my situation. They offered me fair terms that fit my budget and were clearly explained.

I went to Cook Motor to purchase a car. 3 weeks after I got it, it ran hot. After much back and forth with the company I told them that until they fix it not one payment would be sent in. The president of First Finance called me and told me I shouldn't have messed the car up. They are rude, disrespectful, and they have poor customer service skills. I called asking a simple question ; I spoke to BOB LEWIS and he was rude as hell, I would never use this First Financial of Charleston for any of my business ! My money will stay away from people of this nature!
