Opened a free checking account. Had the balance above the minimum to avoid a service charge. Then I added more money and changed to an interest bearing account. Because this occurred between statement dates, they nailed me for a service charge because the original deposit was insufficient to meet the minimum daily balance required for the interest bearing account, although it was way more than needed on the day it was changed. This bank sucks!! I have not had too many problems with the bank itslef beside like the one post where they hold everything and tell you your balance when in reality there is alot of stuff pending and then they bounce everything. They have done that a couple times. Only when you call in and speak to a live rep will they tell you all the stuff pending because some things only they can see becuase they havent come through yet. The manager there is just as much as an idiot as the rest of them. I have been getting the run around... read more

Not Happy with the customer service here. It seems like they dont inform you of hidden fees and such. Made a check deposit here and was not told it would be available until the next morning. Either theyre lazy or not very knowledgable. At my local branch I am able to cash my checks and deposit the cash so the funds would be available immediately. According to the Manager here this branch they dont do that.

THESE BANKS ARE THE PIRATES OF TEXAS.THEY CHARGE FEES ON TOP FEES.WHEN YOU OPEN AN ACCOUNT WITH THEM THERE IS LOT THEY DONT TELL YOU.THEY ARE NOT LIKE NORMAL BANKS MOST PEOPLE ARE USE TO DOING BUSINESS WITH.FOR INSTANCE A NORMAL BANK WILL CHARGE A \$2.00 ATM FEE ON TRANSACTIONS THAT ARE COMPLETED.THIS BANK WILL ACESS A FEE IF YOU CANCEL THE TRANSACTION OR IF THE TRANSACTION WAS DECLINED.THIS IS THE WORST BANK BASED ON THERE READ BETWEEN THE LINES POLICIES.THEY REALLY SHOULD CHANGE THEIR NAME TO FIRST INCONVENIENCE BANK.
