I was fairly new on town looking for a dentist. Almost all places I called would not even call back. I almost have up, but tried 1 more. I am so glad I did. They answered right away and had me scheduled to come in within days. I live the way the dentist actually does most of the work himself ( even basic cleaning). He is very easy to talk to and takes time to answer all your questions. I have never felt rushed. I have also never had to wait but maybe a few minutes past my appointment time. Called on March 27th and made an appointment for April 17th. Got a call today (April 2) that they would like to schedule me an appointment. I told them I have an appt on April 17th at 3:30 and the lady said she didn’t have me on the schedule and transferred me to someone else who said that I’m not scheduled that day and then said that the provider had an emergency and will be out of town…which I feel like was made up on the spot…lol! They only do teeth cleanings one day a week(mondays) and they only have one lady who does them and she frequently works at other places so some Mondays she's not even there. I have to wait two months past the 6 month period because of it. Edit: thats what I was told by the male receptionist.
My experience today with Dr. Charles Jr. and his staff was absolutely amazing. I emailed the office around 7am had a call back by 8:20. Was sitting in the chair by 10:45, out by 11. So glad I chose First City Dental Group with my issues.
