Why did I just call this place on my girlfriend's behalf and ask could they remove Staples from a surgery. The lady got smart with me and asked me why wouldn't I go back to the surgeon I responded because the surgeon is in Pittsburgh and doesn't take her insurance. She puts me on hold gets back on the phone and says no one there can do it you need to go back to the surgeon. 🤦🏿♂️ After I just let her know that the surgeon was out of state she was life flighted and the Surgeon doesn't accept her insurance! Went to urgent care due to a tooth abscess and antibiotics not available OTC. As my information was being taken, I requested to "private pay" for the visit (opposed to adding higher payments and deductible). To which I was met with the following response: "We have to bill your insurance or it is insurance fraud" -Receptionist - infection was present and authentic - no attempt was made to perpetrate "fraudulent activity" - apparently there are no "Payment Options" available as in most health facilities.
Perpetually disappointed in the level of care received. I have a few examples: today I brought my one month old son in because I was concerned if he had a possible ear infection, or if he was just discovering his ears and the receptionist said they only admitted three month old and older, but a different nurse in the back said they just changed it to six months.
