2 hour wait times and they couldn't figure out what was wrong. every time i come here there's an issue.
I was seen yesterday by a nurse practitioner. She asked a few questions and said,”I don’t know. You got me stumped.” She did zero testing until I prodded for some seeing as none of my symptoms are normal- hence being at stat care. After the test was done, she gave me my results loudly with the door open. In reference to one of my symptoms, she said,”That’s not a big deal. I went to this stat care with Covid and what I thought was strep throat. We were taken to a room and the only thing they did was weigh me and take my temperature. The dr didn’t even look down my throat that had blisters and was so sore. The girl that took us to the room asked me what I wanted. Really???? I was so sick I could barely stand. They said it had to run its course. I have never been treated like this when going to a medical facility. It was a waste of time and I’m sure I will get a huge bill. Never again!!! Wasted an hour there. Wouldn't prescribe anything without blood work. Can't do blood work there (despite asking at the front desk before I registered). Won't write a lab slip to go to the hospital for blood work. Told me to use a cream for an internal infection. This is why people go out-of-county for their urgent care needs.
I’ve been here a few times & usually get in to be seen within a half hour. They’ve been pretty good so far! It sure beats going to Union ER & waiting 4 hours & not being seen.
