I have been through 5 different closing processes and to be completely honest and transparent my experience with First American was by far the worse of them all. Where do I even begin with this title team? They still haven’t paid out commission checks on a file that close an entire month ago. The worst communication as well. Would never ever do business with them!
Ali, the customer service representative, exhibited rudeness and unhelpfulness during my calls. Despite reaching out with two different numbers, I still did not receive a satisfactory answer, leading to a considerable waste of time.
Buyers agents and lenders need to know that Escrow will not allow you to use your notary, even though it is a RESPA violation, and is not in compliance with the department of insurance.
