I started out as a customer when a property I was purchasing used First American title. The experience was very good and I used them to sell a property as well and that went smoothly. I'm now using them professionally as a partner and recommended title company for my business Grace Realty.
If you are buying a property and the seller wants to use this firm, don't. They only treat their own clients properly and will deliberately mislead you. I went to another firm to fix the issue they caused for homesteading. They communicated poorly throughout the entire process, were not friendly, and don't seem to care about repeat business. My family has purchased 15 properties over the past 7 years, we will never work with them again.
