3 weeks after purchasing and move in, my water heater kicked the bucket. They refused coverage, and after a lengthy back and forth I was forced to involve mortgage home inspector, my private home inspector and realtor they decided to partially cover the heater replacement . $100 dollar service fee, only to have their plumber come and quote $1,248 just in labor for a switch, plug and play. Bought the heater myself and installed it myself.

The hvac contractors they send is a joke they'll either sell you something you don't need or try to sell you a new system very unprofessional

I have had First American Home Warranty for over a year a year now. I have had the same issue with my dryer for 8 to 9 months. I have had a least 4 different repair techs look at it and even making the same repeated repairs. The last service company they hired didn't even show up. I am on my second group of techs to look at refrigerators too. First American is very frustrating to work with. I am adding to my review.
