I was referred to this place by my primary care provider. I received a text message stating that they would contact me when a counselor becomes available. I have been waiting and still haven’t heard from them so I called my primary care to have my referral change to another practice.
I cannot recommend Firm Foundations for anyone seeking a truly supportive or professional counseling environment. My experience here left me feeling that this is a business prioritized by profit rather than the genuine well-being of its clients. While the counseling itself felt pleasant enough, it lacked the clinical strategy and professional depth I expected. However, the most disappointing aspect was the administrative side. My son have been seeing Kamayah for over a year now and we love her! She have helped him with his shutdowns, behaviors and teenage anger and I love that for him. Her and the office staff are always professional. So glad I picked this place for my teenage son!
Danielle spoke with me and my friend; where we both opened up about our situation and our personal lives. She then ghosted both of us for two weeks and only then sent an email refusing to work with us. She is extremely unprofessional; this would be a zero star review if it was possible. If you are looking for a marriage and family therapist/counselor please stay away from Firm Foundations as their foundation is anything but firm.
