Dr. Firlik is a wonderful, kind and compassionate dentist. We did some research when looking for an Ortho for my son who would focus on the functioning of the tongue/mouth itself and not just straightening the teeth. Proper tongue function is key (I had expansion and braces as a child and my teeth have since shifted and I still have a high, arched palate because the root cause wasn't addressed).
