*Horrible Experience from Last month* Firestone Dental On Raines
I went to the dentist office on raines and had several teeth pulled. Afterwards I was scheduled for fill-ins the front desk rep did not verify the insurance before I arrive for the procedure. Mind you I had two insurances, one through my employer and the other through a 3rd party through Firestone. I was giving about 6 shots in the gums which was very uncomfortable and then was told that the insurance wasn't showing active and sent home..a very terrible experience. On today I called to schedule an appointment to have the work completed, verses trying another dentist. I spoke with an loud ghetto lady and I began to ask her if they could verify the insurance information prior to starting to avoid another bad experience. Mind you, I have the same insurance through my same employer. The lady exact words were, " Mam I work in the back and I don't want to hear what you are saying, I will transfer you to penny, ugh bye mam and transfer me to a line that no one picked up. I am a medical professional and that was indeed an horrible customer service moment. I will NEVER go back to to this facility, even after the first time I still referred others. My mom doesn't have insurance and I referred her, she paid CASH all at once for her work. I will not allow them to continue to not treat patients like me with dignity and respect, I Don't mind taking my time and money else were. Employees should be trained on proper customer service, bad customer service makes the company look bad as a whole. Front desk representative should verify insurance upon appointment scheduling and also date of arrival prior to arrival time to verify if they has been any changes since last checked. The Thomas location is the best, my kids enjoy the cleaning's and the full staff on Thomas, thanks you so much for your time and consideration and help. Raines location for adults needs to get on board and showed be trained my the Thomas location regarding customer service, and company quality.
