Carl the manager of the store on Granby St was very helpful in letting me know what work was needed on my vehicle.He also work hard in getting the part I needed and completing the repairs the same day.
Manager Karl was so helpful from the beginning of the phone call to finishing of the service work. I am a long time Firestone customer and new to the Virginia area so to now have found another location to call my home store is awesome. The entire staff I encountered was spot on and thanks again for helping get my car back on the road. Please acknowledge them for their excellent customer service! ☺️
EDIT: SO THEY CALLED NE TO TELL ME THEY FIRED THE PERSON WHO WAS RUDE... BUT IM STILL OUT $800 AND MY CAR IS STILL NOT FIXED ( TOOK IT TO BIG ALS IN IN PORTSMOUTH WHI FIXED THE ISSUE) thanks for the call but yeah I'd rather have what I paid to actually get the problem resolved not that firing an incompetent person isn't great but that person should have never been hired in the first place that's not on me! On initial encounter, I was greeted very unpleasantly. My car had an emergency and it was not safe to drive home but the guy at the counter was making it difficult for me to drop off my car for diagnostics. Once we came to an agreement I went home and received a call a couple hours later that the oil change did not fix my car. I was told a price for an engine diagnostic and I agreed to proceed. Echoing other recent reviews. Dropped off car for a flat tire and known leak around 12:30 PM. The person checking me in was prompt and answered all my concerns. Told me the flat tire would be fixed in about an hour. Waited and checked in a couple times with the staff - I was told would be addressed. Checked in 4 hours after, I find out the technicians already left and nothing was addressed. Am being told this will be addressed the next morning, but this was very disappointing.
