I had a very disappointing experience at Firestone Auto Care. I called ahead and was given a 5:30 PM appointment for a simple oil change. I arrived on time and dropped off my keys. The receptionist took them back to the mechanics and said to them, “Don’t blame me, blame the manager,” explaining that it was her manager who agreed to take us even though they were apparently very busy. The visit started off great. The staff were friendly and had the best intentions. Said they could replace the tire. I left it overnight, and they ordered the tire. Turns out they did not have the right size adapter for wheel balancing. I can understand them not being able to do the work, as they thought. (mistakes happen.) It would have been nice if they had called me, which they didn't bother to do, probably because they lost my keys and did not want to admit it. They eventually found them.
