Much love to Firestone Complete Auto Care in Tinley Park, Illinois. We've been on the road from Delaware en route to Wyoming since 7pm last night only to get a tire leak in the middle of nowhere at 9 this morning. (See picture for the culprit!) Recognizing our predicament with a van full of kiddos, they were able to fit us into a busy garage the day before a holiday and get us on our way as soon as possible (barely 45mins!!). I had a flat tire on the expressway today. Made it (barely) to the Firestone shop at 3:05pm. They. Were. Awesome. I was almost in tears as I came in because I had to make a delivery by 4:00. Believe it or not, they repaired my tire and and had me out the door by 3:41. Made my delivery at 3:59 (with a little help from the green light gods). This shop was wonderful!! Highly recommend.
My daughter took her car in for an oil change and a new front headlight. They said it was $125.00 for the light to be installed, she said no. Then she went to auto zone paid $18 and they installed it for free. Firestone said she needed a new battery which she got, now I wonder if she really needed one.
I had a rather simple repair. I needed my truck tire (275/65/R20) repaired. It had a nail in it. They were somewhat busy (Monday morning 10am - no appointment) and it took an hour and cost $30. The front desk staff was friendly and I had no problems with this visit. This was my first time here.
Made an appointment and it's still over an hour for an oil change? Over $30 while advertising 19.99. I won't be back and I wish I would have checked this page 1st I wouldn't have wasted my time or money.
