I hate leaving negative reviews because everyone at this salon was very kind and friendly, but I feel I should share my experience. During my pedicure on Friday, the technician was trimming my toenail when she suddenly caused significant pain and told me I had an ingrown toenail. Without much discussion, she removed part of the nail. At the time, I trusted her judgment, but over the next two days my toe became increasingly painful, swollen, red, and throbbing. Terrible. I went in and showed a reference photo. I asked multiple times before sitting down if he could give me what I’m asking for (short deep French tip acrylic full set) and the man guaranteed me he could do it but I should have known from the second he started doing my nails that he didn’t know what he was doing. I convinced myself to trust the process. End result, I hate my nails. I’ve never been so disappointed after getting my nails done. Lumpy acrylic and poor paint job. Used to be a frequent here but I don’t believe the price was reasonable for the quality of service I received. Cleanliness was a HUGE issue. Not only was the exterior cleanliness poor, but so was the inside. ALSO, they use the same equipment/tools for EVERYONE. There was no opening of new tools or equipment for the services I was provided which I found very unsanitary. This was a last minute thing but the service is pretty good. I got a $25 pedicure. It came with callous removal, hot lotion massage, hot rock massage, hot wax dip. It’s very relaxing! Only thing is you have to let the nail tech know if you want your nails cut shorter but I’d recommend these folks. She did an awesome job! BUT be careful of the other charges like gel nail polish removal, it’s $12
