I just had a wood burning stove installed as well as a pellet stove serviced. The stove was installed in the basement and I was having a lot of trouble getting the stove to draw correctly. After smoking myself out of the house not once but twice, I called Fireside to help me out. They put me on the books and for an appt. with Tom for the following week. However, that weekend Tom was in the area and just stopped by. He taught me how to get a proper draw by heating the flue through placing a flame in the baffle. Since he's bee... read more
Just had them install a wood burning stove. The day of install (yesterday) they said the person who did our estimate put the wrong type of insulation on the form and they just had to stop by one day this week and put in the correct kind. We paid in full thinking they'd be by today or tomorrow to finish the job. They said they'd even be able to do it from the chimney in case we weren't home. Today someone calls and wants to charge me extra $ for the "proper insulation" and doesn't even think they can get back to us until the ... read more
Amazing customer service! My wood stove damper got stuck in the closed position, making the stove unusable -- not what you want to have happen in winter. So, first, I called the folks who installed the stove, but they were booked six weeks out. I called at least a dozen other service places, but got nowhere. Then I called Fireside Stone & Patio. Although they don't handle my particular brand of stove, they came to my house two days after my call, and "unstuck" the stove damper. They weren't even going to charge me, and had n... read more

We just had them install a fireplace for us and they were fantastic. From Tom at the store walking us through everything the head honcho was great. And the guys that came to the house were polite nice and courtesy fabulous customer service did a great job
