Great community
I expected quality from a big builder like DR Horton, but what I got was rushed, sloppy workmanship. The framing was poor, with joists not butting up properly and exposed nails left in multiple areas. Drywall seams were uneven, trim was misaligned, and outlets weren’t straight. It’s clear the crews are cutting corners, and DR Horton isn’t providing proper oversight. This isn’t just cosmetic—it’s structural. Buyers beware: you’re paying for a name, not guaranteed quality.
Cheapest built home you will ever look at. The walls are made of cardboard and crumble under picture hanging hooks. The wood they use must be pre-chewed by termites because when the first wind came through our backyard, the fence broke in several places (it’s less than a year old.) It looks like 3 year olds painted the interior. After only one year, there are numerous cosmetic issues: trimming coming off, paint chipping off, fixtures falling off the wall/ceiling, caulk wearing off and having to be replaced, weather stripping... read more
