This place never let's us down. Tried a Salmon appetizer that will be on Friday's menu that was served with a nice horseradish sauce that was just right ! Outstanding !
Owner is a scumbag that treats employees like trash and doesn't like to pay. Thats why she's the only Cook cause she can't keep help. If you quit and then try to get paid she'll call the cops to think she's getting off without paying. No no no. You've met your match now. I should've listened to the numerous people that told me to avoid her like the plague.
Went today with my husband and our new baby girl for a quick meal after a doctor's appointment. Had an amazing meal. Can't remember the name of the app we chose, but it was a jalapeño cream cheese filled little thing, not too spicy and absolutely delicious. We got a Zion pizza to split for our entree and it was just amazing. My husband is STILL talking about how it was the best pizza he's ever had. When we first moved to Connecticut in February, we were obsessed with Fireside pizza. The pizza was cooked to perfection and the owner is a sweet, down to earth, woman who was very welcoming to us. I don't know what is happening there now, but everything has progressively gone down hill. I have given Fireside plenty of opportunities to redeem, but I think the current staffing is running the business down. The food we order is always either incorrect or luke warm. The food keeps getting better in my opinion. A great selection of pizzas, sandwiches, and a special, low-carb menu, as well. Good service and good ambiance and I *love* the outdoor patio on a summer evening. Check them out!
Decent fare for within 10 miles of the casino. Reasonably priced with mostly scratch ingredients (my dessert was shipped in). Moments of brilliance in the caramelized onion and the wood fired crust. The mushrooms were boring. A light toss in oil salt and pepper before putting them on the pie would fix this. The meatball topping tasted STRONGLY of raw garlic.
