Ever since the install ( 2 yrs ago) we have been experiencing horrible smell, coming out of the insert. Every time we put the wood in, the smoke fills the entire house. This is not normal and can potentially cause lots of health issues. We recently heard that this new regency model with catalytic came out with defects and we are not the only ones with this problem. Regency must replace these defective units asap, before anyone files legal action against the company. Especially since they know about this problem.

I bought one of the insert 2016 Was very happy for 4 years and then the horror began The company who installed was coming to my house since Oct 2022 and all year 2023 I have service after service finally that was reported to Regency under warranty he warranty first time the representative no show no call the next time finally made it I have also guy who installed and did all the services But Regency rep keep telling them to check the liner That was check and clean so many times during the services I DONT LiKE THE Fact that t... read more

We purchased a fireplace in Fall of 2021from Regency. They installed it incorrectly causing a part to be “ fried “ ( error on their end ). They came out and told us we would have to wait a few weeks for a part to be ordered . After over a month of follow up calls they finally tell us the part won’t be in until early spring 2022. We have been constantly told they will call us back with no call back. Their customer service is terrible and now we are out of a fireplace for over 6 months due to their error .
