The sales manager and or the used car manger evaluated my car for the trade in value. In which my car had no check engine light on before he touches it. After he came back from the test drive. We test drove the customers vehicle during the trade-in evaluation. At that time, it was noted that the check engine light was on. After our test drive, we also examined the CARFAX history report and noted no maintenance records recorded for 75,000 miles. We simply asked the customer about the check engine light and about the maintenance history of his vehicle. At that point, the customer became very defensive. (Check engine lights are normal.
