I've been to a good bit of Firehouse subs in south Louisiana, and this one has a great staff that is always welcoming. The food has always been great. I definitely will be coming back

The food is always awesome and the employees are awesome! Devante always does his thing. When he’s here, I know I’m getting a good sub. Marie is also great. She makes my visits spectacular! Fire subs.
Best Firehouse Subs experience I’ve ever had! Stopped in at the Gonzales Firehouse Subs today and ordered a New York Steamer — and man, it hit the spot. The bread was perfectly toasted, the corned beef and pastrami were stacked high and super tender, the cheese melted just right, and the mustard/mayo combo tied it all together. I came in for an Engineer Sub and left wondering if I should nominate this place for some kind of sandwich Hall of Fame. The turkey was smoky and flavorful, the cheese melted like it was auditioning for a food commercial, and the mushrooms? Let’s just say they were sautéed to “chef’s kiss” perfection.
