The Firehouse Brewing Company has been crafting beer in South Dakota for 25 years - making us the oldest operating brewery in the state. The idea that this is a brewery is an insult to breweries everywhere, due to the fact the beer is horrendous. The food is mediocre at best. The service is terrible

We ate dinner at the Firehouse Company and it was great! Food was delicious and service was great. We then stopped over to the gift shop where we waited 15 minutes for someone to come to the register to help us. Once he did finally show up, he said “is that all?”. Not once did he apologize for the inconvenience, the wait, nothing. We always stop at the Firehouse when in town and have never been disappointed but the gift shop attendee has zero customer service skills and was quite frankly, very rude.
Great food! The Root Beer is interesting, it tastes more like black licorice. Great atmosphere not out of line price wise from anything else in the area.
