Excellent food at a fair price, can't beat it. Don't forget to ask about their famous desserts.
The food is always delicious and intriguing! Ambiance is great and a fresh change of pace when you want a nice evening out. Fantastic service as well!
They have my stamp of approval! The ribeye was amazing my vegetables are just as good as the rib eye. The calamari is to die for.
Just had fried green tomatos w a glass of sauvignon blanc at the firehouse bistro. For people who dont really drink wine but would like to try it sometime this is definitely the place to try it!!! The wine, with the amazing flavors of the tomatoes was mind blowing. I love that it has the finesse of a fine dining atmosphere but owned, and operated by a wife and husband team. Truly the best restaurant in Dixon. If you haven't had the opportunity to have dinner there you are really missing out Ina real treat. Leslie and John are the best!
What an amazing dinner!!! We had fillet bites with mushrooms and the calamari appetizers. Amazing! Calamari was tender and amazingly seasoned. The bites were tender and moist, but the mushrooms were the best!!! Loved it!!! For dinner we had the butternut squash ravioli and the seafood beurre blanc(Shrimp/ Scallops/ Cod/ Calamari/ Myer Lemon Beurre Blanc/ Mashed Potatoes) Wow! Well I just can't say enough about this little gem! Wonderful service, warm and friendly! Great atmosphere, and the food is always so delicious and fresh!!! I feel so lucky to have this restaurant in my own hometown. Do yourself a favor and try it soon!!!
