When shopping around for a new vet for my puppy in March, I was referred to Firehouse Animal Health Center - Westlake. From our very first visit, everyone—from the front desk to the vet techs to the vets—has been amazing. Recently, our daredevil of a puppy tried a new trick that went wrong. I have been a longtime customer of Firehouse. Back in 2018, when I first moved to Austin, I adopted a cat that had lots of health issues. Back then, Dr. Mendoza and the staff were extremely helpful with all things he needed. Unfortunately, that cat passed away. I adopted a dog after that, and continued to take her to Firehouse until I moved away from Austin. When I moved back to Austin last year, there was only one choice of vet for me. Got a same-day appointment, the vet and rech were knowledgeable, and the fee was very fair. They also followed up to see how he was doing afterwards.
I’m so impressed with the professionalism and bedside manner at Firehouse. Dr. Bonnet genuinely cared to talk with me about my dog and took her time to discuss my dog’s health with me. I couldn’t recommend this place more!
