Love this store, and specifically love Mark, who gave me an excellent tile tour and really helped me understand what makes FireClay so special. He went above and beyond in helping me understand their tiles and process. Their tiles are gorgeous, very clearly labeled (including which tiles have more and less variation in the glazes), and overall really beautiful and high-quality. This tile looks nice in the store but it is AWFUL to work with! Terribly uneven tiles are extremely hard to lay, taking up lots of costly time. Fireclay swears they do not need to be sealed, but this is FALSE. If you don’t seal them, they absorb moisture from the grout and create myriad small cracks in the grout almost immediately. Fireclay made my first kitchen renovation such a positive experience! I purchased their design plan (worth every penny) and started with their handmade tile, which inspired the whole kitchen. Katya and the customer service team were amazing—together we created a backsplash inspired by a quilt my mom and I made. Meaningful, unique, and beautiful. Couldn’t be happier!
We recently completed a really custom project where we installed lots of different tile from FireClay Tile and we were very pleased with the product, and the excellent service and communication from their staff.
