Stopped in on a trip to SF and it was AMAZING! The young lady working there, Mural, was wildly helpful and so much fun to talk to. Wonderful selection of yarns and motions. Will absolutely be stopping by the next time I'm here. Highly recommend!
Rude woman working there. Was looking for advice as a new knitter but was only met with extremely condescending demeanor.
i went in today really excited to finally invest in the chiagoo knitting needles. i went previously and was helped by a super friendly employee but decided to wait on purchasing. went back today and left feeling completely disappointed. the person at the counter was extremely rude and condescending and gatekeepy. The yarn selection isn't bad and the employee was helpful at finding yarn for me, but they greenwashed wool yarn by incorrectly stating wool yarn uses less water than cotton (which has been debunked many times, you can see for yourself, Vox has a good article about it for example), and seemed weirdly defensive about it when I all I had asked was where the plant based yarns were. So I could have done without that.
