Worms... – Several months ago, a co-worker told me about having living organisms in his food at this specific location (Great Hills- Arboretum area). Being that I loved their food, I didn't pay him any attention. Honestly, I thought he was trying to gross me out because he knew I loved it. I eat there pretty often bc it's very close to my office. Well, today the people sitting next to me had LIVE, MOVING worms in thier food. The manager reluctantly refuned my money, almost like he didn't see anything wrong. I definately do n... read more

Great Food, Bad Service – My husband and I really like the food at Fire Bowl; the Pad Thai is my favorite. We used to go to the location in Sunset Valley pretty often but have not gone as much since moving up north. We have gone on several occasions and have not had friendly customer service yet. This was one of the only places I craved for during my pregnancy but we really did go only for the food, not the service or atmosphere. I recommend ordering 'to go' at this location and try the one down south to 'eat in.'

I crave this place! – I love Firebowl. It's great value for the money. You have to keep in mind it's fast food Asian food but I think it's wonderful. The cashiers aren't overly friendly but you usually only have to deal with them for a few minutes. I usually get their veggie Spring Rolls and then make my own combination of: brown rice, soft tofu, thai veggie mix with the fire sauce. It's a large portion so usually I get to eat it in 2 different sittings. It's healthy and vegetarian friendly. I try to eat here once a week for... read more

Trendy Asian Diner – When i come to firebowl, I am reminded of Pei Wei (A lower end Chinese Restaurant). The restaurant has a trendy look to it on the inside and a nice patio to enjoy the food with the weather. The portions are a good size and come at a fair price. I did enjoy the Pad Thai here, but it was not as good as some of the other places I have had. I was slightly disappointed with the red curry dish I had because the spices overwhelmed what I wanted to taste the most.... The coconut red curry. The Singaporean curry ... read more

Stir-fry chain offers an extensive array of Asian delights. – In Short Diners build their own stir-fry from five main ingredients--including meat, poultry and seafood--and eight different sauces, such as the spicy Kung Pao with Asian dry-chili peppers. Three kinds of rice and six types of noodle options accompany each dish. The fieriest of traditional favorites is the Thai pepper shrimp served with baby corn, bell pepper, onion, cilantro and bean spouts in a hot pepper sauce.

Fire Botch – This pan asian restaurant is sub par on many fronts, but most importantly among them is the food. Food is tasteless, overly goopy, sticky, and seasonless. Stay away from the Gen. Tso's Chicken: a gummy, sticky, tasteless mess! Do yourself a favor and have Rudy's BBQ instead, and save yourself for the GOOD chinese food at Pao's Mandarin House or at Tien Hong.

Hrm... Not bad, not bad. – Just moved here from Orlando. Pretty good selection of noodles. Good flavor. Nice and hot. Would eat there again. Vegi Egg Rolls tasted fresh, not cooked in old oil. I had the Chicken Ramen Lomain. I would say it was a BIT pricy for what you're getting, but good. Wife had the Salmon with Teriaki and liked it a lot.

China Bowl Delivers – If you want a simple yet tasty chinese food experience then China Bowl (now Fire Bowl) is the way to go. Their menu offers a good variety. I recommend the Pan-Fried Dumplings for an appetizer and any rice bowl for entree. The rice is thick and sticky and perfect for chopsticks, the meat and vegetables are plump, fresh, and plentiful. The Velvet Corn (aka Egg Drop) soup is excellent as well. Get the free crab wantons and you are set. All that food for around 10 dollars. Great atmospehre as well.

Like a bowl of worms.. – I love Asian noodle dishes, tried just about every variety, from authentic asian cuisine to fusion gourmet. I was very excited when I found this place. .very short lived excitement. The dish was AWFUL. The noodles were like slimy earthworms just out of wet ground, and were covered with this gelatinous SOMETHING. I gagged down only 2 bites, had my husband try, and he spit it out. The shrimp tasted muddy and reminiscent of freezer burned (and poorly cooked). Husband only ate about 6 bites of his...the ... read more
