A neurologist named Dr Jenna had a phone call with my partner and she was so rude and brushing her off and blaming all these different symptoms which were different to the neurological disorder she was diagnosed with on the same one and wasn’t being heard and kept getting brushed off which made her symptoms worse
The key rehab people ( Physio,Speech,Ot)are on thr ball and put in serious effort. However the nursing staff are exactly the opposite as the fault lays with this hospital relying on Agency Nursing! This hospital needs to stop relying on ‘’Agency Nurses’ and instead employ full time Fiona Stanley nurses! They instead call in Agency Staff daily! When they make mistakes they respond with ‘’Am sorry am not from here I am agency nurse’ Also their is a big culture barrier with Agency Nurses here! Hospital lacks in the nursing area... read more
Following a stroke I had mid-July, words cannot describe the love and appreciation I now have for Neurology Rehabilitation Ward A. During my approximately 6 week rehabilitation stay I was treated with absolute compassion, love and care by all the staff. Right from the cleaning and catering staff to the Doctors who watched over the first stage of my rehabilitation ( I'm now at home and busy with phase two) I was never given cause to think anything other than my recovery and health were in the best hands possible.
