My partner recently gave birth to our first child at Fiona Stanley Hospital and we couldn't be happier or more impressed with the service we received. The midwives were incredibly professional, knowledgeable, kind and genuine. It was a very long labour for my partner but she felt supported and confident due to the support shown by the midwives. If you're planning to give birth here, I would suggest seek another hospital. This hospital is unbelievably unprofessional. They call you out of nowhere, offer advice you never asked for, and then bill you for it as if you agreed to anything. The whole experience feels careless, disorganized, and completely disrespectful of people’s time and money. I walked away feeling misled and treated like a number rather than a patient.

I went into FS to be induced last year, everything went well at the beginning. They started off with the ribbon to get things started then the next day I was given the drip to make labour start. Everything went downhill when I got the epidural, my babies heart rate dropped dramatically and I was rushed off for an emergency c section. They tried using forceps to get him out which caused his face to be badly cut on his forehead and over his eye. Gave birth last year with my second baby . I was originally scheduled in SJOG midland, but since i had early labor they asked me to go instead in Fiona stanley. It was very strict that time due to pandemic, when we got inside they assisted us quickly, Thank you to the assigned midwife who helped me, very caring I didn’t get a chance to be transferred in a birthing suite since bubba was really excited to come out but the midwife handled everything smoothly.
