Dr. Esfandiari worked with me through lengthy fertility treatments and tests and ultimately oversaw my maternal care and delivered my baby. I’ve also seen her for routine exams and really appreciate her bedside manner. Her staff is always very responsive and I love that you can get in contact directly with her through her head nurse. Took my partner in for an emergency appointment due to extreme pre menstrual pain. We waited well over 1 hour. When we told her that she has a family history of Endometriosis, she did an ultrasound and concluded there is no Endometriosis, and we were bluntly told that she has constipation and that is the cause of her pain and for us to be on our way with pain killers (which would worsen constipation if that was an issue) and ibuprofen. Unfortunate update : At this time I am looking for a new OBGYN , preferably a black obgyn. As of lately I do not feel heard ,nor my concerns taken seriously. I'm not sure if it's due to having tons of new patients or what it is but there's definitely a difference now. I have major concerns about possibly having endometriosis and heavy periods. Instead of doing any biopsy or further investigation, I'm usually given an ultrasound and told it's all fine when I know my body and know something is wrong. I initially loved this pra... read more
