Have used them a couple times now. They're fast to respond but unfortunately seems like they've turned into scam artists. Was quoted one number and then after the service it was $50 higher because "that was just the amount to knock on the door". The "service" was tightening a few screws for $50 apparently on top of the call to come out. Pretty unreal.

FINZELS HEATING AND COOLING IS PERMANENTLY CLOSED AS OF MARCH 2026 The phones now forward to a completely unrelated company based out of Redford. There is a new company that has been started by long time Finzel's employees, they are fully operational working out of the former companies office. DO NOT CALL FINZEL'S THEY ARE CLOSED

Former employees of Finzel's have started a new company: S. Finzel Mechanical Find them for the same quality service Finzel's had for years

Please note that Finzel's Heating & Cooling permanently closed on March 9, 2026. The Finzel's phone number now forwards to another HVAC company based in Redford that is not associated with the Finzel team. A new, separate company, S. Finzel Mechanical, now operates from the same office location and was founded by longtime Finzel's employees and a member of the Finzel's family.

Best heating and cooling company we've used - that's why Finzel's is the only one we call. They have been servicing our heating and air for over 10 years, and we rarely need repairs because they're on it with the maintenance. Every expert they send out is friendly and explains everything. We trust Finzels - they're not overcharging us, and they don't miss a thing when it comes to the furnace or air.
