A disappointment. Good but to have the rating of the best restaurant in NOLA I was expecting something out of the ordinary. The service was subpar also.
Heaven in NOLA is GW Fins. Excellent atmosphere, superior service from all, Nate was fantastic and the food is beyond 5 stars.
As a Chicagoan foodie who loves to travel and eat from wherever I possibly can, I always have high expectations for fine dining restaurants. This place was amazing to the point I would travel back to New Orleans with this at the top of my to-do list. We had a really terrible dining experience the night before at another restaurant. I won't be shady and name that restaurant, but we waited about an hour for an appetizer and the food was not good. Had a wonderful dinner! Really enjoyed the Salmon and the Sweet and Smokey Jalepeno Butter that they drizzled over it is easily one of the most amazing things I've ever tasted. It's heavenly. Would definitely recommend making reservations but the wait wasn't too bad for a hightop in the bar area (about 45 minutes). Service was excellent and the prices were very reasonable too!
Incredible food and service! I travel for work and consequently dine in some or get best restaurants this is a top experience for me!
My girlfriend and I came here for her birthday dinner. We both agreed, it was the best overall meal and service we've ever had. We'll be back!
