It is no wonder that GW Fins is rated by Yelp as the No 1 restaurant in New Orleans. Everything about the place is amazing. Our server Kina is wonderful, all four of our meals were delicious, and the staff takes wonderful care of you as you dine. Because we move every couple of years we enjoy trying different restaurants. GW Fins is one of our two restaurants that we take friends to, full well knowing they will be pleased and want to return. If you enjoy bread pudding, try the bread pudding at GW Fins.
Service was impeccable. Food was stellar. Wine was delicious.
First time in New Orleans and I had the best service I have ever received in my life. Please request Fallon as your waitress. She is very knowledgeable and has the best customer service of anyone I have met in my life!!!
Ask for molasses with biscuits - swordfish and tuna were fabulous

We had a great meal after helping our daughter settle in to college. The lobster dumplings had great flavor, the crispy pork belly was amazing. My husband had the Scalibut and loved it and I loved my scallops and mushroom risotto. Just a top notch meal and great service.
High noise level. Waitress seemed bothered and rushed. Fried soft shell sat in old grease and not seasoned and not hot. Biscuits were disappointment although kept putting them on our bread plate. Ask if sword fish was fresh or frozen and waitress said everything they had was fresh. It was cut and frozen and overcooked. Never came back to ask how our meals were. Red fish was nicely done. Chocolate martini excellent and dessert tasty. Would not go back.
One of the best dinners I have had at a restaurant! Everything was amazing and our server, Vic, was very knowledgeable and helpful. I would recommend it to everyone who visits New Orleans! Awesome customer service!! Arlyce, Moline, IL
